2016-2021

Throughout his career, David’s constant choice was that black and white film was used for personal projects and colour was for commercial assignments.

In 2018, he sold his film cameras and used his digital assignment cameras for personal work. His primary subject was urban and rural landscapes as well as people he encountered on the street. With the impact of COVID-19, he isolated himself from others and concentrated on rural landscapes in forests in the Ottawa region.

He usually posts one photo a day on Facebook and his long term objective is a collection that deals with the reality of keeping active, motivated and inspired in a pandemic by searching out the truth and beauty of every day life.
